LIV Hospitality Housekeepers Headed to Las Vegas Housekeeping Olympics

Box Elder, S.D. – LIV Hospitality’s top housekeeping professionals put their skills to the test today during the company’s Housekeeping Championship Finals at The Box Elder Events Center, earning the opportunity to represent South Dakota at the internationally recognized ISSA Housekeeping Olympics this November.

The championship marked the culmination of LIV Hospitality’s “Road to Vegas” competition series, with team members advancing through regional qualifiers for a chance to compete on a national stage. Finalists faced a series of fast-paced challenges, including bed-making races, toilet paper pyramid building, mop relays, vacuum challenges, and a buffer pad toss, showcasing the speed, precision, teamwork, and attention to detail that define great hospitality.

“Today was about recognizing the Associates who make our hotels successful every single day,” said Kayti Ratigan, Chief of Operations for LIV Hospitality. “Housekeeping requires incredible attention to detail, efficiency, teamwork, and pride in your work. We wanted to celebrate those skills and give our team members the opportunity to compete for something truly special.”

The winning competitors will now travel to Las Vegas to compete in the ISSA Housekeeping Olympics on November 16 at Michelob Ultra Arena inside Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. The annual event is part of ISSA Show North America and attracts competitors from hospitality and healthcare organizations across the country.

The Housekeeping Olympics has earned national attention in recent years, generating coverage from outlets including Inside Edition, FOX5 Las Vegas, The Washington Post, and TMZ. Now, LIV Hospitality’s champions will have the opportunity to represent both the company and South Dakota among some of the industry’s best housekeeping professionals.
